Croswell Swinging Bridge

The unusual swinging bridge over the Black River in Croswell is famous for the sign at one end that proclaims "BE GOOD TO YOUR MOTHER-IN-LAW". Because of that sign the bridge is also known as the Mother-In-Law Bridge.

Lexington to Croswell Bike Path

There is a paved bicycle path going from Lexington to Croswell. You can safely ride from Lexington all the way to the Swinging Bridge shown above. The distance is approximately 5 miles.

Lakeport State Park boasts a one-mile beach along the Lake Huron shoreline, with a large, modern campground nearby. Go north on M-25 approximately 12 miles to the park.
